SkinSwapper
Fabric mod Minecraft 1.21.11 Client-side Runs on your PC

Wear any head from
Minecraft-Heads — instantly.

SkinSwapper turns the Minecraft-Heads catalogue into your skin wardrobe. Search a head in your browser, hit apply, and the mod sets it as your skin and reconnects you — no launcher, no restart.

What it does

A head catalogue that lives in your browser.

Everything runs from a small page the mod hosts on your own machine — no external service, no account beyond the one you already play with.

Search the whole collection

Browse Minecraft-Heads by category or name, or paste a head's URL to jump straight to it. Thumbnails render the real face and hat layers.

Apply & auto-reconnect

Pick a head and SkinSwapper sets it as your skin through Mojang's official API, then reconnects you to the server so it shows up right away.

Drive it from your phone

The interface runs on your local network, so you can browse heads on your phone while you play on your PC. Protect it with an optional password.

Built for headshops

Turn any head into ready-to-paste /itemname and /itemlore commands, with fully editable templates for your shop.

How it works

Four steps, then you're swapping heads.

Start the server

Open Mod Menu → SkinSwapper and press Start server.

Open the page

Click Open in browser, or visit the address on your phone.

Find a head

Search the Minecraft-Heads catalogue and select one you like.

Apply

Hit Apply — your skin changes and the game reconnects for you.

Head database powered by Minecraft-Heads.com

Every head — its texture, name and category — comes from the community catalogue at Minecraft-Heads.com. SkinSwapper is a client for their collection.

How SkinSwapper uses your session.

Changing a skin has to be authorised with Mojang, so SkinSwapper reuses the login your game is already signed in with. Here's exactly what that means — and the lines it never crosses.

To set your skin, the mod reuses your game's existing session token — the same credential your launcher signed in with — and calls Mojang's official skin endpoint (api.minecraftservices.com). That's the only thing it's used for.
Stays on your machine

The token is read from the running game and used locally. It never leaves your PC.

Never sent to the web page

The browser interface only ever receives head data and sends back the head you picked. The token stays inside the mod.

Never sent to Minecraft-Heads

The catalogue lookup and the skin change are completely separate requests. Minecraft-Heads only ever sees an anonymous head search.

No server of ours — none to send it to

There is no SkinSwapper backend. Everything runs on your computer, so there is nowhere for your credentials to be collected.

Not written to disk or logs

The token is held only in memory for the request. It isn't saved to a file or printed to the game log.

Local & lockable by default

The web server binds to your own machine, and you can set a password before opening it to your home network.

SkinSwapper changes your own skin on your own account, the same way the Minecraft launcher does. It does not access anyone else's account, and it stores no passwords — sign-in is handled entirely by your Minecraft client. Skin changes go through Mojang, which rate-limits them, so the mod applies them one at a time.
